How can I get him to stop being shy??

ok so I really like this guy and his name is tom. all his friends tell me that he asks wer I am when he doesnt see me and that he's always looking at me when he's talkin to someone else. now his friend pete told me that he does like me and his cousin told me that I should talk to him because he's shy and the way he said it made it sound like a hint that he does like me you know? what can I do to make this tom see I like him??? I dont think he really sees it. I want to get to know him better but he just doesnt seem to speak or anythin. even on msn the chat line he doesnt say anythin. I think its becos he's shy he'd screw up. another friend of his told me he wants to ask me to his social what can I do to show him that I like him??

since he's shy and you like him, I suggest you tell him.

Ok, when he looks at you, look up for a second, look back down, and then look up, and so on and so forth. It will show him that you keep thinking of him. Make cute funny faces at him when he looks at you, with a half smile. And then giggle, definately giggle, its a cute one. Twirl your hair when he talks to you, and give him that 'I know something you dont know' look. Send him cute funny notes in class that will make him smile. You could always tell him you like him. Or give him hints... like, eh, 'Say, you konw who I like?' And then describe him. Goodluck!
