How can I get away from detention when I didn't do anything wrong?

Okay, well I do this sport at school...

Well, the first day that they did it, I had to leave early for a nutritionist. And the next day, I asked somebody where they met. But they told me the wrong place, so I spent the time waiting in the wrong place.

Then the next day, the person who gives people detention walked up to me, and asked why I missed two of the days when they met. I told him what happened, but he didn't believe me.

So then the next day, I asked somebody else where I had to go(which actually ended up being the right place), and then went there. I waited for about 30 minutes, but left when nobody came.

And now I'm really scared that I'll get detention tomorrow! I've never had one in my life. What do I do?

This may be a little late, but make a preemptive strike and go find the person and tell them there was no one there when you went there...
