I would say joinn a sport. There you will meet a lot of friends and you probably will have to wear shorts or somethingg. and When you win games you feel really good about yourself.
I used to have problems with my esteem also. The only thing I know of that works is pretty obvious I suppose...but it took me long enough to figure it out..lol. One day in my first year of college, it was like I woke up. It became so clear that nobody is better than me...nobody. Sure, I'm not perfect..or even a little good..at a lot of things that some people are GREAT at. However, I have my own talents and good qualities. We're all the same. Insignificant blips in the universe trying to survive. Some people just forget how small they really are and think they can cut others down. Something I do when I'm feeling especially low...when I see people that I don't know (yes..complete unsuspecting strangers) I think about the fact that they're somebody's friend, child, parent, et cetera...and I had NO idea they even existed until that very moment. As is the case with all of us. Sure some people make you feel bad..but imagine all of the people that don't even know you exist..all of the potential friends and enemies...think of how insignificant we really are. Don't think you can do something so you're not going to try it? Do it anyway..what do you have to lose? You could regret it ..or..you could try it an either do well or suffer a few moments of humiliation..I swear none of the 3 will kill you

I never have really been the most confident person out there, I've struggled with my self confidence for as long as I can remember. What can I do to be more confident?
