How to force myself to stop leaving homework to the last minute?

how can I force myself to do homework when I first get it insted of leaving it till the last minite??? Homework is so boring and I have so much of it, at least 2 hours a night, I want to get it done and then I can go out with my mates after, but I keep...

putting it off and saying I will do it l8er. does anyone have a rota idea or somat!

Well, you said it all really...if you get it done right away, you can go out with your mates after. Think of it as a part time job you have to go to after school - two hours is really not that long of a time, and once you get the homework done, think of the sense of accomplishment you'll feel. Also you'll have a lot less stress and you'll be able to enjoy yourself more.

I have always had the same problem with procrastination. What you need to do is find a source of motivation, such as hanging out with your friends. Set up some type of rewards program for yourself, and then stick to it. For example, if you get your homework done right after school, then you can hang out with your friends. If you don't get it done, then don't hang out. It's hard, but trust me, you need to solve this problem now and do NOT let it continue. Procrastination is a very hard habit to break, and it will affect your life.

yeh, I can't be boverrrd to do my h.w to but it helps if you do it while watching somthing you find funney like freinds or maybe even your favorite film! lol it does help a lot trust me

Do it with your friends like a little study group we do that...

Some of the above may be helpful but I think it is best done to music. But do it right away... before you even pour yourself a soda or reach for the cookie jar - get the homework out - put the music on - do it... then you will be FREE ! ! !
