We had a similar issue, and ended up needing a plumber to 'snake the line' which means to use a long, snake like device to chop through some roots that had grown into the sewer line. If you have a tree that's been growing on top of, or near, the sewer line out to the street, this could be the same issue we had.
Some plumber's will also check things out free of charge. Good luck.
Slow or blocked? I don't think you mean slow because that is pressure from gravity, which is a constant. If it's blocked than you need a plumber. It could also be poorly vented. You can tell if that is the case if the water has a gruggling sound to it. For a quick fix, use ordinary dish detergent, let it sit for 15 or 20 minutes and flush. The detergent acts to dissolve solids.

How can I fix a slow-flushing toilet?
Does anyone have home remedies to fix my toilet that flushes verrrry sloooowwwwwly? Sometimes, it’s so slow that not everything goes down and I end up plunging it once a day. I looked at DrainO but it says not to use it on a toilet. What should I do?
