How can I become skinny fast?

I cant take it anymore. I'm 16 &&Starting college soon, I need to lose weight. I started eating excessivly last year and since then the weight has just piled on. My thighs are huge. &&My waist and tummy is fat and flabby. Lovely image I know. I hate myself for this and have been desperatly trying to lose weight but I just cant. I'm addicted to food. Temptation is enough to make me eat. When I start eating I can't stop. I eat until I feel ill and I still carry on eating. Whole cakes chocolate bars. Snacks, huge meals. You name it. I'll eat it.

So to the point

I really really want to get a flat tummy, smaller waist and thinner thighs before college (end of august) I've looked at becoming anorexic and I'm suprised im not. Because I hate my image soo much. Walking around town makes me break down and I avoid changing rooms, even if im not the one trying on clothes.
Somebody here must be able to help me kick in the habit.
I've tried helping myself but im not strong enough.

I know you've probably heard it all before but can't somebody help me lose this weight. Somehow. I just want to be the girl I used to be.

Go to your doctor and ramble off the symptoms for ADD and then get a prescription for Adderall. I'm going to get hated on so badly for saying this but it is a veritable miracle drug. They sold amphetamines as a diet pill in the 80's because It completely takes away your appetite and, coincidentally, makes you really focused and gives you great energy. I used to take it exclusively for cramming and I would sometimes (be awake) and go 2-3 days straight without eating, or even thinking about food. I've calmed down on the all-nighters but now I find myself taking it more regularly just for the enjoyable effects of it. Because it makes you so focused I feel it takes away that little voice inside your head that lulls you into temptation; it gives you control. But if you aren't that good at manipulating health professionals then drink lots of ICE COLD water (body burns calories reheating itself, ~96 floz/day), chew gum to keep your stomach from growling, replace at least a few hunger cravings with another full glass of ice water, eat a bowl of chicken broth as your meal (season to taste!), eat between 900-1,100 calories/day...or every other day, brush your teeth around 4 times a day (you don't want to put food in a fresh, clean mouth,) don't eat after 6:00P (that's being lenient) and whenever you find yourself inventing reasons why you should (excessively) eat, instead of justifying them fight back with just as many reasons why you SHOULDN'T. It really all comes down to control, step outside yourself and realize you're better than that and you don't need it.

So if you follow this by the time you get to college you'll have room for all those extra alcohol calories consumed on weekends! Just be careful not to walk into McDonald's drunk or the Dollar Menu will completely own you.

(Seriously though Adderall has had some adverse affects on people who had things like unknown pre-existing heart conditions so do be careful)

Hi,

Well, you need to change your habits. You must redefine what food is to you. Do you eat when you aren't hungry? That's just habit, and it can be broken. You have to sever this old relationship you have with the food and get ready to start a new life. Feel positive about it. Maybe sign up for a special diet like Jenny Craig or LA Weight Loss, so you have support. Otherwise, just limit your portions and eat healthy ONLY when you're hungry. Sometimes we think we're hungry when we are actually thirsty, so if you feel the urge to eat, try drinking 8oz of water first--sometimes that's all your body needs.

It sounds like you have a self image problem. A therapist or counselor might be able to help you with that.

Get some fruits or vegetables to snack on. They're great for you and not fattening, so you could snack all you want.

16 and college ? Darn .. I feel stupid now .. well I say join a gym * like the rush or la* one open 24/7 and go around 9 or 10 at night when no one is there and you can workout each night or early in mornging like I do in the summer and eat less

Hey dont stress over losing weight just cut out the crap I know temptaions...but I had the same problem you can never loose vast amounts without harming your body so work it over time I've cut my eating habits down to one healthy meal a day and healthy snacks fruits and so on this doesnt mean you can treat yourself to the nice things...honestly its as easy as that eating that much stuff is way to bad for you anyways its all in your mind you do not need a full cake.

Just Simple:
Healthy breakfast...friut small bowl of cereal
A meal and healthy snacks

Oh and dont eat late at night that could possibly be the wost time you could eat. good luck sweety

drink a lot of green tea, especially in the morning it will help you burn fat, drink a lot of water and exercise. try a skipping rope, 10 mins. a day and you will lose 10 pounds in a month.

when I was 12, my weight was 50kg.
last year it was still 50kg till I decided to diet.

I thought I was really fat that I didn't eat in a proper manner fr 3 months, (at first it was sickening but then, I started to get used to it) in those 3 months, I only ate full once.

ya know, I was really frustrated because the day I started to diet, my mom brought home a pepperoni pizza, haha.

my school was in the second session, meaning in the afternoon.
I didn't eat lunch because here in malaysia, our main food is rice.
I know rice is the reason people became fat.
I kept on continuing this habit.

I was so obsessed bout dieting that when I hung out with my friends, they offered me some Mcdopnald fries, I didn't want to eat it as they had too much calories, salt and most importantly, carbs.

till one day my relatives dropped over and they said I was really skinny!
(though they were the one who gave me much pressure)
as well as my friends.

I didn't believe what they said and continued this. I didnt realized.
till Eid came, I started to eat and eat.

TILL NOWW.
my weight now is 51kg.

im thinking of dieting again.

um well...u all gunna hate me for saying this but...anorexia is a great way.
if your so desperate like I am, do what im doing...become anorexic...im only 13 and sure what wld I no but try this: drink 8 glasses ICY COLD WATER every day, dont eat dinner dont eat breakfast and for lunch have a lettuce leaf. try this for three days then stop eating the lettuce leaf every day and start eating it every 3 days. try this for another 3 days than only eat the lettuce leaf once a week. set out a routine. every 2 months eat a small steak (cut out all visible fat)...every sunday you shld make it a habit to eat 1 tomato [this is preferably the day you shld eat your weekly lettuce leaf] DO NOT TURN TO BULIMIA IT WILL SCREW you UP COMPLETELY...now wenever you get temptations just think of the ugliest fattest girl you no and say to urself : I so dont want to be her... distract urself by reading watching tv sittin down on the comp going to a frends house ect. chewing gum also will help but make sure its sugar free and make sure you dont swallow it...when you do eat that occasional lettuce leaf and tomato and steak you shld make sure that it is all dated and you do it at the exact same time every month/week w/e...oh and every morning as soon as you wake up you shld go for a LIGHT 10 min jog.

I used to weigh 248 pounds at only 14 years old. I stopped eating junk food and started exercising and When I turned 15 I got a job to get my mind off food. I did this for two years straight. I still ate My 3 meals a day. Just no snacks. I would put more veggies on my plate than meat and carbs. Now I am 17 and I weigh 125. If you put your mind on something else and don't think about losing the weight, but still watch what you eat you will lose the weight. If you stress over it, it will make you gain. I am very happy with the way I look now. The only down fall is once you lose the weight, get ready to be constanly getting hit on.

I agree with the guy who said adderral. I've been on adderall and ritalin for ADD since I was 13. whenever you take it, it completely rids you af any desire to eat and makes you completely focus on one specific thing. if you take it and then decide to go work out, you wont want to stop working out until the aderral wears out. and then you wont ever have any urge to eat afterward either =]
the only thing is that you have to take it every day because on the days that you dont take it you get freally hungry and will eat everything/ good luck

Well lolz you could do what I do! I get up in the morning take a vitamin tablet and dont eat till tea time. and at when that time comes I eaither eat a little bit of somfin somfin being healthy of course fruit and veg. and I've been doing this for only 3 weeks and my parents say I look gangly and gaunt in the face I look like I have a baby body and pale in the face if this is what you want then take me up on my answer if your afraid of compleatly wreaking your body then go ahead! hope I was a help.

get educated on nutritional facts. I find that if you can calorie count and have knowledge on calories from fat, you can lose weight at a reasonable rate. And excersize can be fun. Be creative and dance to your favorite music. You can do this alone in your room, no one has to see you. Do this everyday for at least a half an hour. Trust me it works.

This is what I do. I only ever eat fruits and hot chocolate. Although hot chocolate is a bit fattening, one cup gives you satisfaction and makes you calm so that you don't feel the urge to eat something. Fruits are just delcious and it gives me energy and there are so many kinds that you don't get bored. Usually, what I do though is I eat this sour green apple that doesn't taste bad but doesn't taste graet either and it makes me full for a couple of hours. It works really well and fruits makes your skin better. Although I heard apples at night are bad for you. Hope you lose weight.

I hate it when people say 'just eat healthy' or 'just exersice'. what some people dont realize is that although it may be simple and easy to them, others just dont have the will power to stop their cravings. it can be so hard to some of us to just say no, or to change our mindset about food forever. what many of us asking these questions about how to lose weight really want to know, is how to get that power and control. we want advice on how to be able to tell ourselves, no, I dont want this anymore, or how someone going through the same issue is dealing with it. being healthy is good advice, but everyone knows that. everyone knows that that is what will help you stay a good weight. but how can we be sure that we will stay at that weight. how can we be sure that one day, our cravings wont get the best of us and sabatoge everything we've worked towards. see...its control, thats what really determines whether or not you will lose weight and keep it off.

omgooshhh im going through the same thing I have to lose weight by aug 1st, and I need to lose 30-40 pounds fast! and get tan!... I just eatt smaller portions im not starving my self but I might as well I only eat like one healthy meal a day and so far I've lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks!!! now im at that breaking pointe where I cant lose anymore, I need to shead off another 20 or 30. and I just gotta keep eating smaller meals... and drink icee cold waterr...

this is an unhealthy website for anyone who wants to lose weight. this is an advert on how to kill yourself.

you need to be happy with who you are before you can lose weight come to terms with how you are and how you look and then make a diet plan and stick to it. if you want it that bad you'll do it.

What you need to do sweetie is resist temptation. Im in the same situation as you and I have trained my stomach to not want as much as it used to. Im not saying starve yourself because I've tried that and it doesnt do much but add to your temptation. But still, thats not good. Just exercise. And instead of coming home from school and getting that snack you were thinking of right after lunch, try some fruits or veggies. And Run. I mean run your heart out regardless who's watching, because you'll be getting something from it.

okay. this is for real. if you want to loose wait do this, when you wake up in the morning eat grapes or a banana, apple, yogurt, or anything else and have a water. at lunch, pack it whether its for work or for school and bring an apple or water, if people ask you why your only bringing that for lunch just say you have a stomach ache. then dont eat until dinner. after dinner you can just do 75 sit ups, 75 pushups, 75 leg lifts, and you will loose 21 pounds a week, no lie.

Well I used to weigh 165 the begining of last summer and I lost 51 pounds just in time to go pack to school. What I did wasn't very healthy but yeah I just skipped meals and cut down on portions when I did eat. I drank plenty of water and (rarely) exercised. I went from a size 14 to a 5 and now I eat normally and I can still fit into 4/5/7s.

I drink lots of water. It really does fill you up, run, and eat yogurt and a granola bar. They honestly fill you up, and there delicious also.

I used to be about 10st 7, (147Ib), but now I'm 8st. I started my diet in December, and in the first fortnight I lost 10Ibs! I try to eat about 1200kcal a day. Some people say its not enough, but it's all the vitamins and essential oils I need. My mum does the same and none of us ever want to go back to eating crap all the time.

So thats my answer to eating healthily but still being skinny. DO NOT ever consider making yourself anorexic or bulimic- it's really not the answer. Just eat whatever's right for your height and frame, and train for something worthwhile, like the 'race for life' or London marathon. You'll be more motivated to exercise then.

The concept of becoming skinny fast is not healthy at all. If you want to look better and more slim, the best thing to do would be cardiovascular exercises. Go out for a 2 mile jog or walk. Eat a proper diet which means no soda, no ice cream, no cookies, no junkfood at all. Just eat healthy hearty filling meals.

I've had a consistent diet and workout routine and within 3 months I have lost a good 15 lbs of fat and gained lots of muscle since I weigh about 5 pounds less than I did before.

One way that I know that will seriously help you lose
some weight, specifically that little pudge on your
stomach, is to cut down on high fructose corn syrup.

I stopped eating or drinking anything that had it in
it and I noticed a difference in atleast a week.
it helps fast if your trying to look good in the stomach.
thats just what I would do.!

I am 15 and 145.
I play soccer and a lot of its muscle.
But everybody wants to be skinnier.
So I would definitly try this to help
you stomach. And of course its good for your whole body.
It also lessens your food intake because high fructose
corn syrup makes you want to eat more.

everyone I have a same problem too I HATE looking healthy and im on slimfast and am rying to losecurves and my boobs fasti feel gross and I just want to lose weight I need a lot of help with that but I like all this advice is great im thinking of becoming ana too but its haRD and I end up eating =[

I have a pretty good solution and it is HEALTHY...go on a all liquid diet where you drink water eat bunches of soup...a yogurt here and there Jello...I went on this kind of diet and lost 20 pounds in one month but I stayed healthy :D I hope this helps!!!

Hey, I'll tell you what works for me. When I want to drop weight rapidly, I try to cut down or cut out completely ALL carbohydrates and sugars as much as possible for a few weeks, except for some fruits and vegetables, drink tons of water, cut out all soft drinks (even diet sodas), try to do light work-outs at least every other day, and keep moving no matter what. Make every movement of your body count, whether it's going up a flight of stairs or walking to the mailbox to get the mail. Flex your leg muscles, hold in your tummy to work those muscles, pick up your pace, try to find ways to make each daily movement a little more strenuous and watch what you eat... try lean meats, vegetables, low-fat cheeses and dairy, berries, salads, greens, and such. Weight will come off quicker this way than starvation or bulimia, and you'll stay healthy plus trim up quite quickly. Good luck. Also, talk with your doctor about your weight, have him do tests before you start on a diet, and go back every few weeks for another round of tests which will show progress in your weight and blood chemical levels.
