How can citizens help indians who are endanger of losing land?

anarchist Asked by anarchistforlife 11 months ago, 1 answer.

Through out the years indigenous people have had to suffer great shifts in there land culture and future. Recently I just found out about the EZLN and the Mayan people trying to stop mexico from selling off their lands to corporations and protecting...

their resources from exploitation. They have also been trying to protect the rainforest thats apart of their land. This happened do to the Nafta agreement and bush pushing for the lands not to be protected. This type of thing has happened in the USA and still happens to native americans.

My questions

What to you is the best way to stop this?

How can one help indians and indigenous people against exploitation and corporate greed?

Whats your thoughts on the Mayan situation?

I feel that laws have created the situation at hand. Laws can always be appealed, changed and new protective laws put into place for the future. Lobbying law makers for such constructive moves may very well be in order for those who are able.

The Mayans have given us so much from astrological maps down to our modern day calendar. I feel that their former habitat is an archelogical treasure for the world and that we still have much to learn from it.

Do you feel that Nibiru will be an integral part of that ?
