How bad does a lip piercing hurt?

How bad does a lip piercing hurt? Like I have two tattoos and I have my ears, nose, tongue and belly button done. If I can handle all that can I handle the lip?

kay well it depends where on your lip you want pierced?!
like side or middle.
I've had my middle pierced twice.
the first time I my firend did it with a big needle, in the bathroom at school.
I didnt hurt much at all but I passed out for bout 20 min.
but like a week later it got really purple and thats when it hurt I couldnt even touch near my lip it hurt.
so basically GET IT DONE BY PROFFESIONAL who knows what there doing.
the second time I did it by myself at home.
yeah I didnt learn from the first time, I was stupid back then.
but anyways I did it very slowly it took like an hour.
it kinda hurt when you do it slow.
but if you go to a professional and get it done it won't hurt trust me.

I got mine done about a week and a half ago and it turned out awesome I love it, you just have to wash your mouth out with mouth wash after everything you eat, drink (except water) and smoke. I would recommend getting one piercing at a time until it heals. take care!!

I pierced my own lip once. I had to take it out though, cause my grandmother said she would disown me if I kept it in. Lame, right? -.-
Anyway, its going to sting a lot, I can tell you that as a fact.

But, what got me tripped out is that my friend today had told me that some people who pierce their own lip can get their whole side of their face paralized.
Im not sure if that is right.
I surely doubt it thought, I suppose.

it hurts a little but as long
as you take care of it and make
sure you don't get it infected the pain
is usually min-able but if it does get
infected it hurts sooo bad but a tongue
piercing hurts worse than a lip piercing

it depends on your pain tolerance really.
but you should aslo be worried about the peicing itself
be aware that the side of your lip will swell up for about 2 days
as well as all the other things that could go wrong, youll most likely avoid them if you get it dont by a trusted profesional
and dont be afraid to ask them any questions you have on it.
also lip peircings take around 3+ months to heal and its not advised that you change the peircing untill at least 3 months

Tattoos don't compare to piercings at all. I have 8 tattoos, and used to have my lip pierced. It is all based on your pain tolerance, just because it hurts for one person, doesn't mean it will hurt for you. Same as the other way around. So, theres really no way of knowing how much pain you personally will feel.

I have ears, nose, tongue and belly button piercings too. and I just pierced my lip yesterday.. By myself.. It hurts slightly more than tongue..

I got my done the other day its just a pinch just remeber to keep breathing I have to warn you the swelling is kinda anoying
