How do I get over losing my dogs?

How do I get over loose my dogs I've had since before I was born?

it's simple. you never will. I had lost a familty pet about a year ago. yeah it still hurts always will. just remember the times that you had , and all of the fun. the pain will go alway slowly, but never completily

time will tell

Just think, they ad such a long and happy lif with you but now it was time to move onto heaven where they can be free to do whatever they want. By them passing on now, it stopped them from having to suffer more medical problems that come with age as they get older and older.

I'm sure they enjoyed their life with such a loving and caring owner as you.

With time, the pain will lessen.

Time is the answer...a new pup helps, because you'll be so busy keeping up with it, you don't have time to dwell...Before you know it, that hole in your heart will be filled with this new loving companion...It won't take the place of your old dogs, but it will fill the emptyness.

A new puppy will for sure make a big difference. Not to take the place of your other pets but to bring joy back into your life and fill the void.

The old wives tale that you should not rush out and get another dog is not necessarily true.

Well, you won't get over it right away and that is the unfortunate news but I know what you are going through, kinda, because I had to put my dog down almost a year ago and you will always miss your dogs but what helps is to mend your broken heart, like putting a band aid on a cut, and what you can do is get a puppy that you can train and deal with and play with because then it makes things easier. when I lost my dog I didn't think getting a new dog was a good idea but it made me happier to look at puppies and it was a lot better when I could finally hold my own in my arms and now she is really warmed up to me and she is actually sitting in my bed with me right now, so a new puppy really does help you get through the pain but that doesn't mean that it will go away right away because I am sorry to say it won't and it does take time but if you need to talk I am here and I wish you luck on everything. hope I helped in some way.
