Iam unemployed and in need of housing, the programs available are only for disabled and those with kids. Iam not lazy just not having any good luck at all. The place Im staying now I have to be out in two weeks and since its a military base and I have no car I cant get on and off post without the people Im staying with. They have small kids and dont want to take them out often. All I really want is a home even if it is with a room-mate so I can work and support myself and be happy. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try looking for local listings in newspapers. Another great place to look is around colleges. Students are always in need of a room-mate to split living costs. If your having no luck at all, try to go to a real-estate agent. They can work with your budget and find a home/apartment suitable for you. Good luck!
