What about one of those personal cooling collar things? Its like a sharper image product or something. Seems ideal for cases like yours. What else could you do??
When I'm working hard in the heat, I drink plenty of water, eat fruits and splash myself with water regularly. I keep my hair wet so the evaporation cools my scalding cranium. I've never had to work in a space suit, but in a hot bakery in the summer for 9 hours, breaking my back, I had to surrender to the 100+ temperatures until shift's end and chalk it up to character building and endurance training.
Kudos to you for having a good (albeit tough) job and the certification for asbestos removal. Safety always.
