***You are slow,arnt you?***
No... I'm just waaay over your head.
***ok its ILLEGAL For them to to get married***
...WAS illegal, but now that's changing. Haven't you noticed?
***according to the bible its a SIN for them to be together anyway***
...Yes, according to the bible, homosexuality is a sin, but homosexual MARRIAGE is not mentioned.
***I wanted you f*cking thought, not your protest.***
I'm not protesting anything, and these ARE my thoughts; and I'm right... so deal with it. Otherwise, you shouldn't bring up an issue that you're apparently too ill-informed or simply too ignorant to discuss.
Since marriage is now a LEGAL agreement between two individuals, as viewed by the government, and NOT some religious ritual; religious bigotry should have NO bearing on the matter. People are slowly beginning to realize that. That is why it is slowly becoming legal in the U.S.
umm,
I dont have a problem with it.
it's whatever they want to do.
but I do believe it's a sin..
like a lot of things people do.
no I dont think god cares what your orientation is if you love someone you should marry them dosent matter what race or orientation I dont think its a sin
I don't think the bible says anything about gay marriage.
The bible (from what I have read) describes marriage as being when a man and woman partake of each other, mind, body, and soul they are one. Now I do not think that when a man and a man or woman and a woman want to marry it should be allowed. But I think that we should pass a 'partner license'. Where they have the rights of a married couple but it isn't called marriage. The 'partner license' would be just like the 'marriage license' only not called marriage. That way everyone would be happy.
I have a lot of interest in science, and people who are gay have different out puts of hormones which = different levels of hormones. I don't think anyone chooses to be gay. But maybe if hormones were balanced they wouldn't be gay? Just a thought.
lol I have no issue with it what so ever, marriage is not just a religious thing, they do have civil services you know
I think its awesome and anyone should b able to b wit who ever they want
Do you honestly think it's as simple as giving someone a shot of hormones to make them straight?
I think one day this argument will seem as ridiculous as banning people of different races from getting married... (it wasnt too long ago when it was against the law, people forget so quickly...)
I am so sorry if I sounded like I ment giving someone a shot of hormones would make them straight. I can see how it does sound like that. I wanted to simply point out that people don't choose to be gay that it has to do with the way their brain functions, same as the way straight people's brains function. Different levels of hormones in the brain causes the individual to have different reactions towards something then another person would.
\While I do believe that marriage should be between a man and woman. That is only my opinion, and I was just trying to offer some info, and maybe another alternative to marriage.
From Cornell University -
Also, a review of research on hormones of adult homosexuals found no differences overall (Gartrell, 1982). Others who have sytematically reviewed the research have reached the same conclusions-- no differences between homosexuals and heterosexuals in hormone levels or physiological functioning.

***The bible (from what I have read) describes marriage as being when a man and woman partake of each other, mind, body, and soul they are one.***
Now, where does it say homosexuals CANNOT get married?
please read the words of coretta scott king, widow of martin luther king, jr. -
'I still hear people say that I should not be talking about the rights of lesbian and gay people and I should stick to the issue of racial justice... But I hasten to remind them that Martin Luther King, Jr., said, 'Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere'... I appeal to everyone who believes in Martin Luther King, Jr.'s dream to make room at the table of brotherhood and sisterhood for lesbian and gay people.'
'We are all tied together in a single garment of destiny... I can never be what I ought to be until you are allowed to be what you ought to be,' she said, quoting from her husband. 'I've always felt that homophobic attitudes and policies were unjust and unworthy of a free society and must be opposed by all Americans who believe in democracy.'
'Gays and lesbians stood up for civil rights in Montgomery , Selma , in Albany , Georgia , and St. Augustine , Florida , and many other campaigns of the Civil Rights Movement. Many of these courageous men and women were fighting for my freedom at a time when they could find few voices for their own, and I salute their contributions.'
'We have a lot of work to do in our common struggle against bigotry and discrimination. I say 'common struggle,' because I believe very strongly that all forms of bigotry & discrimination are equally wrong and should be opposed by right-thinking Americans everywhere. Freedom from discrimination based on sexual orientation is surely a fundamental human right in any great democracy, as much as freedom from racial, religious, gender, or ethnic discrimination.'
'Homophobia is like racism and anti-Semitism and other forms of bigotry in that it seeks to dehumanize a large group of people, to deny their humanity, their dignity and personhood. This sets the stage for further repression and violence that spread all too easily to victimize the next minority group.'
oh really...?
where in the bible does it say that two of the same sex should not get married???
OK Im saying,
In all the bibles
somewhere it says homosexualiy is a sin.
>[
Okay... so where in the bible does is say that SINNERS can't get married?
fdgdsfghfgjetry
Not what im asking.
-.-;;
its illegal in most states because of the statement in the bibles.
are you slow?
If they're leaglizing weed, they need to legalize homosexual marriage.
***its illegal in most states because of the statement in the bibles.***
WRONG. That's just their futile attempt to KEEP it illegal. And NOWHERE in the Bible does it say that homosexuals cannot get married.
You are slow,arnt you?
ok its ILLEGAL For them to to get married
according to the bible its a SIN for them to be together anyway,I wanted you f*cking thought, not your protest.
I'm personally against same-sex marriage. And just about everyone in my family is that way. I find it wrong.
I find anyone idiotic for saying that NO where in the Bible that it doesn't say that it isn't right. Just because it doesn't say what you want to read "SAME SEX MARRIAGE IS WRONG" blah blah blah and so on. If you actually studied the Bible from front and back, like I have, then you'd know that is does say it's wrong.
While the Bible doesn’t address the concept of gay or same sex marriage, the Bible does clearly and consistently tell us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). God does not create a person with homosexual desires. A person becomes a homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27), and ultimately because of his or her own choice. A person may be born with a greater susceptibility to homosexuality, just as people are born with a tendency to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person choosing to sin by giving in to their sinful desires. If a person is born with a greater susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it right for them to give into those desires? Of course not. The same is true for homosexuality.
SO, .. WRONG for saying the Bible DOESN'T say anything about it being wrong.

Homosexual marriage, whats you thoughts?
what are your thought on homosexual on Marriage? I Thing if to people love eachother enough, they should b aloud to get married. yes, it is standing up to god, and saying, I will alway love this person, and I want to be with them until the end. god doesn't care what your orientation is does he? well I want your honest opinion. and I want details why YOU Think this way, I wont except "because the bible says so." you know what THE BIBLE SAYS a lot OF PHUCKING THINGS!
