If you file Backruptcy it will prevent you from losing your house. My advice would be to contact an Attorney and explain your situation, if you do not want to file Bankruptcy there maybe other options available that you may not be aware of. If you allow your home to be foreclosed, you will have a difficult time purchasing another home in the future.
