Homeless people what could i do

I feel sooo sorry for the homeless people and I want to do all I can, but have no money myself lol :\ what could I do to make a change?

You could work at a homeless shelter?

eh you could give dem a few quid whaen ye see a homeless person are buy em a roll are sumtin!

get people to donate clothes and give it to them!
Whatever you do, dont give them money though!

you could help out of volenteer at a soup kitchen or homless shelter
or donate anything you dont use ot want to either charity or ask the homless shelters if theyll take it
usually its not a good idea to give them money because a lot of them are depressed and use it for alcohol or drugs to take there mind out of the reality they live it
buying them a meal or a packet of chips/biscuits, ect that would be a better idea

Not to be rude or seem harsh but you shouldnt feel bad for them.

Most statistics show that the #1 cause is alchohol and drug abuse which is there own fault.

and some are just plain ol lazy

The majority of circumstances are their own doing however people need another chance at life. Giving them money will not help, your best bet is to donate time or money to a local shelter where the money is managed towards giving them another chance.

ok .. it is good that you feel the plight of the poor and homeless, and what ever you do .. don't let people tell you that they do not need help .. yes there are many out there that will take advantage of you caring heart and take money and use it for drugs, lottery tickets or even alocohol .. but there is always 1 out or every 3 to 4 that realy need the help.

Conect with a church or homeless center and resaerch what you can do to make a difference. It goes a lot further thatn just giveing them money, clothing or a meal once in a while ... but remeber that most likely the only reward you will ever recieve for helping the poor and homeless is their thanks .. and that not often .. do not let it discourage you in this .. the lord is sending you out to mission to the Homeless becuaase you care about them .. find good organizations that help the poor and homeless and learn how you can help.

but remeber that even people that work in helping the poor can be mean spirited at times .. you have to have a tough skin and drive forward in this knowing that there will always be those out there that think you are being foolish in this.

but in the lord's eyes you are blessed and wish to be a blessing to those less fotunate ... start with a church group .. the salvation army .. or any centers that exsist in your area that help the homeless .. and volunteer (as there is very little more out threre to do this work) and learn what you can do to make things better.

Doesn't the UK have a 1st world social safety net? These people choose the life they lead, so I don't know why you feel sorry for them.
