how come they never showed wilsons chin? it got annoying that they never showed his chin

that was part of the charm of his character, he has a full knowledge of numerous subjects and can help the Taylor family with almost all their issues but you never get to see his face.

They do show it - only once. That's just a part of the humor of the show. They are always using props and things to cover his face and it's supposed to be comical.
