I would suggest actually proving yourself to them, offer to help around the house any way you can , get a job and earn your own money , just be good for the next while, get the grades in school , show your parents your responsible enough and that your trustworthy. Make a deal, if you can do all this that they will seriously consider your request.

Im trying to convince my parents to let me go on holiday with my mates,
Im 16 atm and will be 17 on 22nd august.
We plan to go Ayia Napa in august 2010.
Any advice on how to convince them??
