Obama quote

punk rock yo Asked by rock3rtru about 1 year ago, 9 answers.

Obama says For those who didnt vote for me, I will be your president too.
What do you think of that.
No crap you are going to be our president too. That is the job. The president of the UNITED STATES. You cant pick and choose who you want to be the...

president of.

Oh, you didnt vote for me? I cant be your president then!

If that were the case then we would need 2-3 more presidents in the US.

He's just trying to be nice and say that even if you didn't vote for him, it doesn't change his opinion on that part of America, that he will still the the best president he can be.

I hope our securities are in order... we will see what kind of man he really is... testing testing testing...

well- those who voted for obama got what they voted for.
his statement could be in reference to other statements by people that he isn't MY president, I didn't vote for him
unfortunately for us that did not vote for him- yes he will be in charge- for better or for worse. and I agree, I hope that the security plans that BUSH put in place are working good and up to the task- because I fear another attack on the horizon .
and I truly do hope I am wrong.

He's saying that he has everyone's interest in mind, not just the interests of those who voted for him.

I think that's obvious.

The man has not even been sworn in yet, and you're already trying to destroy him with pedantry. Give him a chance first.

I noticed that Obama did not run nearly as negative a campaign as McCain. McCain was criticized by his party for not running an even more negative campaign than he did.

In his interview with Rachel Maddow he said the reason he didn't attack the Republican party as a whole was because after the election whoever is elected will have to work with politicians on the other side and find common ground. He didn't want to poison that ground.

Only time will tell how effective a president Barak Obama will be but in my book he is trying to be everyone's president, not just a president of one viewpoint. Contrast this to other politicians who demonize their opponents (calling them socialists, terrorists, the anti-Christ etc).

Did you see the look of anger in his eyes when he said I will be your president too? I was watching it live when he said it and it sent chills down my spine. I think he is angry at those that didn't vote for him. I think he is a tyrant in the making.

Pay it no mind and get ready for his brand of 'Change' - whether it will be in a positive direction, benefitting the American people, or a negative direction, we shall see.
