I was hooking up (making out) with this kid and I have braces...we were at it for a few hrs and my lips started to bleed and I dont think it was because of my braces because it has never happened to me before but my lips hurt so much still and they are...

all swollen and cut up in the inside from hooking up...I dont know what happened because its never happened to me before when I hooked up with braces

just put wax on it. it should heal. they were just rubbing your lips too much and the skin broke. (the bit about the hours may have done it)
