got something rude or uncalled for to say to me and I really do take offense to it. However, my boyfriend thinks I'm being silly and that I'm just picking at little things. It's not little to me because her uncalled for remarks are really getting to me and it's almost making me not want to be with my boyfriend anymore if she keeps this up. I want this to change. I want to really like his mom and I really want her to like me too. But my boyfriend won't ever stick up for me in front of his mom because he's a momma's boy. It bothers me and makes me feel like my feelings don't matter to him. How do I get him to talk to his mom about this, without causing a huge fight?

It's always a tough question when someone in the family doesn't like you certainly the mom. If he's a Momma's Boy then she's just protecting her son. She has probably done it to every girl he's brought home. You'll have to decide if dealing with her is worth being around him. Which may be hard if he is very close to his mother. Have you tried to sit down and talk it out with her? It may help you understand where she's coming from more or what reservations she has about you. As for your boyfriend if he values your feelings and input a fight shouldn't be started over bringing it up.
