His ex and us problems

Ohkay, so my boyfriend and I are going really great, its long distance tho. And his ex still loves him, and last night there was a birthday party and one of my best friends was invited. And since its a lond disant relationship, I don't no EVERYONE he...

does. ANYWAYS, we just got back from camp Sunday. And I uploaded some pictures on my myspace. And my profile picture is one of us both, and so is his, but there not the same. His ex and one of my supposed best friends talked sh*t about me and him, and saying all these mean things. My best friend was asleep well, she acted like it, and the other girls thought she really was asleep. But right before I left camp, his ex asked me if I hated her, and I said I didnt because I barely no her. And she said she would never say anthing bad about me,
She also said she would break us up, and she wanted to get back with him, but my boyfriend regrets going out with her. So what do I do, stay friends with those two girls? Should I tell my boyfriend?

P.S. my best friend called me and I heard the whole conversation, so I no EXACTLY what they said.

And what should I do, please give me advice overall.

okayy well. you should confront your boyfriend about the situation. letting him in may help the conflict.
You should keep your bestfriend and his ex close BUT you probably shouldn't be telling them everything like you would your best friend.
just remember if they gonna talk sh*t about you behind your back and be best friends with you to your face then keep em close.
keep your friends close and enemies closer.
