high school is like middle school, except bigger and with more opportunities and more cliques.
of course people change, whether to fit in or because they want to.
sometimes the cliques stay the same, sometimes they get bigger.
yes there are more meanies but only because there are more people.
the teachers ARE stricter, a lot.
of course it is possible to flunk out.
dress code depends on your school and state. mine had uniforms.

my high school experience was wonderful, just be yourself and never lower your standards of morals for anyone !

My high school was that way. Kids start growing up in high school, not wanting to take orders from adults because they think they are grown up. There probably will be some cliques, it depends on the people at that high school. There will be strict and nice teachers. There will be some people that are mean, and some worthy of friendship. And yes, it is possible to flunk. Flunking out all depends on how ambitious you are at getting a successful life.

I think that high school is an introduction to how people are in real life. You will have people you like, and then there are people who will stab you in the back. Just be careful who you trust, because some people will try to take advantage of you in real life.

Nope I thought Highschool was better, things change.
Ya of course people change your entring a new stage in your life, and face more situations.
At my highschool I saw some people get teased, but most were over that stage after a while.
Depends on your teacher and what they expct outa you, believe me its easier than college, you will get through it.
Ya it is easy to flunk, education is tooken more seriously. High school is the time you realy need to step it up expecially if you plan to go to college, it makes a difference.
Some high schools have dress code. Mine was the basic, shorts, need to be at least thigh high, no sleevles shirts and no obsurbed language on t-shirts.
My high school was good, as far as school goes. I found it fun to make friends with the older kids becuase they showed you the ropes. I was also in sports which helped me make even more friends and been envolved in much more.
Tips dont scare yourself before you get there, kids are much cruler in middle school. You can do it, just go in there do your thing and dont get influenced by negative acts, around you,

You have choices as to which elective you will take. Its much bigger, teachers are not that bad from what I remember. As for failing? You have got to be extremly dumb to fail in high school. teachers are finding every way possible to pass students.

high school is a little like jr high, just because you get to choose what classes you take, but the teachers are definatly more strict there. they don't try to make you do your work; it's up to you. there are a lot of teachers at my school that won't let you turn in late work, either, so it's harder in that way too...
people change a lot in the high school years. yes, you start out with the same friends and the same cliques. but after a year or so, people have moved and changed and it's different. you have to be open to change.
teachers do their best to help you pass; chances are if you're one of the people that don't do their homework, the teachers don't want you a second year anyways. sorry to put it like that, but... you can fail. don't do any work. don't study. basically the same as j. h.
it's actually pretty nice in high school though. theres a lot more freedom. the teachers don't babysit you, and once they trust you, they'll let you do just about whatever. don't start drama; it's horrible for everyone and noone wants to hear it. and everyone will know your business in high school, just like in jh.

-ya I changed a lot my views and opinons about drugs, achohol, and sex changed sooo much and I did too.

-some do, some dont, in middle school I was a prep and when I went to 9th grade I became more popular and even though im still kinda prepy I hangout with like the jocks/stoners

I love high school and becauwse im only in 10th I guess what I can give for advice is, be yourself and just remember only do things cause you want to becuase when you get out of of hs your not going to see most of those people again. and not get into peer presure if your going to do something do it cause you want to. oh and for example in middle school I was really shy and in hs I let loose and was myself and became way more popular/friends
