Well yes of course you need to be good at giving advice and giving 'long and understandable' answers. I've also heard you can't be arguing with people or getting annoyed OR giving bad advice but Hey that's pretty obvious. I've seen thedude say that a lot of people find the website and they interested for a few hours and want to become advisors. So he said that you need to be fully active on the site for at least a week. If this all applies to you then send a funmail to thedude and he will see what he can do =]
