Hes going to propose tonight help

I have always imagined someone proposing to me being really romantic, and im quite sure that its not going to be. I do really want to marry him but I wish he had put more thought into it. Should I say anything or just accept? Help!?

first of all, how long were you together.. secondly, dont force an engagement/marriage on a guy, that scares them off..
he may not be ready right now.. maybe several years from now...

seven months is not long to get engage.. but either way, if he is going to propose.. good luck..

How do you know that it's not going to be what you imagined?? How can you even be sure he's going to propose after 7 months of dating? I'm sorry but in my eyes, that is completely unheard of. You need to wait YEARS before getting married. You don't know anything about a person in 7 months. I've been dating my boyfriend for *3 YEARS* and we're still not ready for marriage. Think about that before you say yes. Will your marriage really work out if you start out not being together for very long?

well you have been together 7months... not long.
everyone I know who has gotten engaged after not a very long time have broken up.
if you get married it means your spending the rest of your life with them and only them-no cheating, no flirting with others, truth, trust etc.
that is if the mariage is based on love not just for the sake of it. theres lots of serious things you have to think about. you have to sacrafice lots to make things work etc. etc. I think you should go over all the details-big and small- and decide whether its what you both want or whatever.

I agree with everyone telling you to wait, marriage is a big step and a huge responsibility on you and your boyfriend's part. But, if you are sure he is proposing tonight and you want to marry him, but just don't think the proposal itself will be what you want, that's probably a pretty common concern. Every girl expects an emotional romantic to -do, but most guys really aren't into that and half the guys that do it like you'd see on tv just do that because they think they should and don't really mean half the things they say. They are nervous enough just bringing up the subject and the pressure to make it perfect is sometimes just too much. You should respect him doing things his way, what you probably fell in love with him for in the first place. When my husband and I got engaged we were dating for almost seven years and he took me to Zale's and I walked out with my ring on my finger. I liked picking my own ring out, but it wasn't the proposal I'd dreamed of...unexpected, in front of a lot of people, with a romantic speech on bended knee blah blah blah. But, he did it his way and I know how he feels about me and that's all I think really matters. Good luck tonight!
