He's back with his ex girlfriend

So I met this guy of the internet and he was everything I wanted in a guy he was funny he had a job, a car, he played baseball, he knew a lot of the same people I knew and we even share the same birthday. We talked for about a year on and off but we never met because I was scared he wouldn't like me in person. While recently we stopped talking and now I found out that hes back with hes ex girlfriend... I don't know what to do!! I don't know how to get over him. It's been 2 months since we talked and I still can't stop thinking about him.. Almost everything reminds me of him.. It's getting annoying now.. Any advice on how to handle this ??

How does everything remind you of him, when you two never hung out? The fastest most effective way to get over someone is to stop ALL contact with them. Its going to take time, but you will heal, and move on.

Its sounds more like a minor obsession, since you've never met the guy, you can't TRULY be attached to him the way you're describing.
