Here's another poem: do you like it or not?

Hey everybody,
I had to write this poem for english and I was wondering if you like it or not. Thanks

“Loss of Yourself”

Life is a hardship that we all must face,
And love and hate is it’s true base.
Fight for yours and others beliefs,
The fire in you, you shall keep.
The loss of someone who is close to you,
Dead or breathing you feel subdued.
Separate, alive in this desolate place,
The loss of yourself has an unexpected face.
People come and go with their feelings and such,
For some, this main function is really too much.
Your criticized and at times highly appraised,
In this life, that some call a daze.
Keep for yourself your ingenuity and dreams,
For many lose what they need as beams.
To hold themselves up, so easily they fall.
People should strive to achieve their own call.

Sounds pretty good to me...however, change 'your' to 'you're' in the line 'You're criticized and at times highly appraised.'
