Looking for an old cover album that featured music of hendrix. the only artist I can remember is ice t doing 'hey joe' can anybody help?

I think you're thinking of 'Stone Free,' an album of only Hendrix covers. This includes a cover of 'Hey Joe' by the group Body Count, of which Ice T used to be a member.
