really want to get my nose pierced bad

um I really want to get my nose pierced BAD. like bad bad bad. but my dad always says no when I ask, but my mother thinks it would look really cute. as do I of course. and my grandmother would have a spell about mutilating my body if she saw me with a...

nose ring, so I know like theres flesh and clear nose rings, but I dont know where to get them? the only accessory store we have in my town is a Claire's, can I get them there? or do they have them at the piercing place? also I need answers to these questions:
1:can I wear makeup around my nose ring?
2:which side do I get it pierced on??
and 3, (I know this is completely off nose piercing subject but...) im going to get my cartilage pierced in one ear, and which side do I get it pierced on??

get a septum - then you can flip it up into your nose whenever you need to. also, all of the tattoo/piercing places I have been to carry a ton of jewelry.

yea. you can wear makeup...just make sure you clean it, or else it will get infected... its a better bet to wait until its completley healed... but I wore makeup around myine and I was fine bc I kept it clean.

lol trust me of all people about this. I have 21 piercings, and I come from a super-conservative family.
they might give you grief about it... but it deff will not last long...and life will go back to normal.

I have myine done on my left side... only because the indent on my left nostril is like .001 times deeper then the indent on my right nostril. it looks cuter when its set deeper in, rather then being out there floating.
...go with whatever side is deeper.

and a cartilage piercing? lol whatever side you want. its no big deal. do both. seriously... its no big deal. whichever side you want.

no no no, do not get your septum pierced. I think it looks way unattractive. nose studs look super cute on just about anyone. im going to get mine done too, soon.
as for what side to put it on, if you have bangs to one side or your hair parted to one side more than the other, put the piercing on the other to balance out your face and features. it will look way better, and the piercing will never be hidden by hair.

nose studs are really cute trust me ... I got ma nose peirced recently and looks cuter dan I expected ... hurts a bit but make sure the professionals do it fr ya ...
