Help with painting baby's room

I have finally picked out crib bedding but Have no idea how I want to paint the room, I would like to pick colors that are different then those in the bedding but still go well with the colors. I have a Chocolate carpet, kick board and chair rail. SO I...

would need some ideas on the top half of the wall and the bottom half of the wall. Here are some pic's Please help

This is how I had the room but now I want to repaint it. So I will be changing the Cranberry and the dots.

How about some subtle yellow to offset the violet? Not a bright yellow - a nice pale one...it should also go well with the carpet.

Maybe paint the wall in wide yellow and violet stripes, making the yellow stripe thicker than the violet.

That's funny because I also thought about yellow for the bottom but did not know what to do on the top half
