Help with diamond weight

Asked by loca123 2 months ago, 2 answers.

Is 1/10 CT diamond good? Or is it bad? I just bought my boyfriend a ring online.

All angles and geometric lines, this 10K gold men's band is a striking presentation with a subtle white gold diagonal strip down the center to house three channel-set...

diamonds for 1/10 ct. t.w. of brilliance.

Please I would like to know so I can return it.

Thank you in advance.

Judging whether a present is good or bad isn't a question of the size of its gemstone. Usually. At least, it shouldn't be. It's a very nice gesture. That said, a 1/10th ct stone is about as small as it can get without being sand.

That's very small, considering 1/10th of a carat is the total weight of THREE diamonds. Mikeh is right though, it's a nice gesture and it's the thought that counts, but I hope you didn't pay very much for it or you got ripped off.
