go watch the orphanage. it was good, and scary too. don't watch any of fingernails' picks. they all sucked. -juno was alright. certainly not the other 3 though. go watch dark knight, if you haven't seen it yet. realize going in though, that a lot of the hype is because heath is dead. it's a good movie, but it's getting hailed as the greatest thing since sliced bread, and this simply is not the case. also, watch it in imax, it's worth the extra 2 bucks. the mummy movie sucked, blow that one off. death race is going to be solid mindless action and gratuitous violence...that comes out of friday. other than that...perhaps focus on older movies. there are a ton of classics that are ripe for the plucking. best of luck with that. live the dream.

u have probably seen it but 'pans labryinth' was fantastic and 'the orphanage' is from the same director. 'sweeney todd' was very good and quite strange. and if you've seen the first 'lost boys' go ahead and watch the sequel. it wasnt as good as the first, but I still liked it. 'the condemned' with steve austin was really good, lots of bloodshed. 'natural born killers' is an older one, but once again, quite gory. you usually can't go wrong with a quentin tarantino movie...'grindhouse (planet terror) (death proof)', 'four rooms', 'from dusk til dawn', 'resevoir dogs'. if you want any other suggestions just let me know...im a movie buff happy
