This song was originally from a poem a close friend wrote and I wanted to write this song so people out there that are abusing children will STOP!

Helpless everyday in an abusive home
I tell people what I go through to make it through the day
Yet...

when I come home I tell them what I try to do but yet things get worse for me
Crying myself to sleep every night in hope that someone will rescue me from this
I honestly don't think anybody cares cause they look at me and walk away
Help a kid in desperate need of loving and be cared forever...

All the pain that I go through everyday-yet nobody cares
What a-shame of a life I live going to school to have not a teacher that cares
Thoughts of running away but with what money to feed myself with decent food
What human being has a heart to take me from this home they call full of love
It's hell but with walls and trashy food hurt everyday and crying to sleep every night
They all see the scars that are left on me yet they do nothing to help me

Help me please-I want to live but not in this hell-raised home
Help me please-I can't much more pain they put me through
Help me-help me-get out of this tortured home of mine
Rescue me from hell!

Going back and forth from school to home with deeper wounds
People ask me and I tell them but they walk away as if I'm a ghost to them
I want out of this home for good but yet who will take me in
Pushed around against the wall having my skin cut up while I scream
This isn't the life a kid like me should be living in
Someone - I beg you to save me...

Help me please-I want to live but not in this hell-raised home (3x)

Strapped down and left to die
Left in an abandoned house hanging from the ceiling waiting for help
I know that will never come until he came...
