What are pointers for pitching strikes in softball?

GaNgStA Asked by cuatis over 2 years ago, 1 answer.

Does anyone have pointers on pitching strikes in softball because I am a pitcher and am having trouble on the 3rd ball and 2nd strike because I end up walking them. Please help I want to be good at it, because pitching is my passion

I've heard of mounting a tarp and placing holes in locations that would be strikes (white circle around to make them more visible)....maybe make an outline of the catcher with one hole for the high strike / one hole for the low strike....measure off the proper distance - mound to plate....I heard a major-leaguer used this to keep sharp....work on hitting those holes consistantly.

Hope it helps, good Luck and God Bless !!
