Any tips for getting jobs?

Im 18 and need a job . See I dont have HS/D. But I AM currently going back to school for my GED . But I cant seem to get a job ANYWHERE . I thought my LIP ring was the problem so I started takeing it OUT and covering the hole with makeup when I went to interviews . So my question is . Any tips for landing jobs ? And also , Who hires pierced people ? Help me please !!

Just be confident, be yourself, show the employer you want to make something of yourself if your hired, just be sure to dress nice too.

Lip rings are accepted by some jobs, like Hot Topic, Spencer's, or something along those lines.
