Is 8 days late too soon for a pregnancy test?

Ok.. me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant for over a year now..and it hasnt happened yet..well my period is 8 days late..and im excited..but im not too excited..I already have a 3 year old son..but I need to know when to take a pregnancy...

test...if I took one now..would it be too soon?

Your period is over a week late so take a test as sonn as possible, if it comes back negative and you still dont get ur period then take another just encase the first test gave a false reading.

You can take the test right after your missed period, as that would be the first sign of pregnancy!

it depends on what type of pregnancy test that you buy. some of the more expensive ones can get it sooner, and the cheaper ones you have to wait like weeks after your missed period. so just go to the store and look around and read the boxes, im sure they will tell you something. goodluck!

you should take one imediatly. Im 16 and 4 months pregnant..when i missed my period i waited about 5 or 6 days then i took the test. So you should take one now. Good luck i hope you get what you wanted

See what happens wait it out! if you dont get your period, go to the clinic its never too late to get tested at a clinic. They do tests with urine and blood CONGRATS IF YOU ARE!
