You have to be consistint in the training, don't take the plastic away because you are just taking away the issue and not solving the problem. I would get metal bowl's.
If and when yuo catch the dog chewing on the plastic you need to corret them. When they stop you need to reward them. I would put something plastic right in front of there face and if they go to chew it corret them with something like leave it or what ever word works for you. If and when they leave it, reward them. It takes time and persistance but you will correct the dog and they will start getting it. but you have to stay on top of things.
For starters get a ceramic food bowl, which she could impossibly destroy.
Then buy chewing toys from the pet-store, and yes I know you´re thinking but she´ll still chew on everything else! well you´ll just have to keep those things out of reach!
Later on you should no matter what get her trained.
Good Luck :D!
um I ono.but I hella appreciate you answerin ma question I decided that its hard to get out of city I want to try bu ill rather just stay in sac I want to be a entepenuer and a fashion designer trust me bru I googled everything I don't know any coleges that have both majors should I go to two different colleges then???
You need to become the pack leader, at the moment, your puppy does not see you as the one who is in charge.
To correct you dog when it is chewing, or doing any other undesired behavious is to feel calm and assertive, once you have maintained that energy, use your hand to tap the dog either on the neck or between the ribs and back leg. It should be a quick but FIRM tap, it is best to curve your hand, as if you were getting ready to play the piano.
You need to time the correction well, it staps the dog out of it, and it redirects the behaviour. You need to assert yourself as the pack leader, at the moment your dog is not taking you seriously, you need to show your dog whos boss.
For more informatioin I suggest you watch the dog whisper, it is on every night on sky 3 at 6pm. Cesar (the guy who does it) is amazing he can solve any dog behaviour problem you could think of.
good luck

Help my dog stop chewing plastic
My dog finds the minute thing made out of plastic. She is a puppy. I know she has to chew but she won't chew anything else except plastic. She chews on the trash bin. She chews on her crate. she even chewed on the tarp. She destroyed all her food bowls....
I think my old beagle is catching on... plastic is such an everyday item like her crate, I don't know what to do... I give them bones, but not when I am away since they can choke.. any experienced advice?
