Well, you have to award her for her good behavior, and punish her for her bad behavior. I just got a new puppy too, and at first, he was wild and crazy! To train him, I used a spray bottle with water in it. Whenever I told him, no and he didn't stop, I would give him a little spray and he stopped. Whenever he did something good, I said, good boy! and sometimes gave him a treat. However, you do want to play with her sometimes, but teach her how to control how she plays with humans so she doesn't hurt anybody. About the biting, she is teething right now, so that should go away after a few months. Don't get mad at her for biting, but get mad at her if you say no to something she is biting (e.c. shoe, sock, remote control, etc.) and she doesn't stop. Remember that she is still a puppy, so she won't ever be perfect! She will calm down as she gets older, but the earlier you train her, the better dog she will be! Hope I helped! Fun mail me if you have any more questions!!! happy

Well I have a spaniel who just turned three, but he had been raised in kennels with eight other dogs or his whole life, so when I got him last february he thought it was acceptable to go on the furniture, pee anywhere he liked and try and eat my cat (that was sorted out with a swipe over the nose from the cat LOL) so I went on the internet and looked up training tips and here were the ones I found most useful:

-award with praise and a small treat, but make sure you dont give them to many because no one likes a fat dog
-if they bite you pretend to be hurt, it gets the message across in a friendly way and sometimes they'll give you a lick to try and say sorry which is sooo cute
-if your dog barks at the visitor thats just them warning them to get away from their territory, make some sort loud noise or squirt them with a water spray thing
-and when it came to jumping about on the couch send them out of the room for 30 seconds

and remember BE PAITENT- its a young dog and its also new to your house hold

best of luck
