How to fix poofy hair?

My hair is always so poofy I really don't have a problem with frizzy it's just poofy I want it to lay flat and not be poofy how do I do that.

my hair is pretty thick could that make it poofy ?

change shampoo and use loads of conditioner. blow dry it then get your irons out, use the mainly on the top parts. you can also add some product to help control it and keep it all in place =)

Use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, flat iron it, and use some sort of pomade or syling wax to help weigh it down.
