How can i get black dye out of my hair?

I dyed my hair black and red 3 days ago and now I totally regret it. It washes out but I need it gone as soon as possible, my old hair colour was brown with blonde highlights, I want that back. How do I get that back?

well you could always try dying it back...it might take a couple of time...but it wouldn't hurt to try...i would suggest just walmart stuff for the brown, and then get the highlights done professionally...or just wash it a lot...good luck!

use dish soap when you wash it out my aunt is a professional and that is what she told me to do when i dyed my hair red and i hated it and it really made a diffrernce but if that dosent work you can bleach your hair and then dye it back to its oringal color because blonde dyes to any other darker color.

NNOOOOOO,, dont just try to dye it back.it wont work and you could end up with a funky color unless your lucky verry lucky.and dont try bleach it will turn out orange take it to a saloon or wait till its alll washed out then dye it----i have dyed my hair black manyyy times and now i have to wait till it grows out...

use head and shoulders shampoo it makes black fad so quick

Head and shoulders eh? maybe thats why my hair is fading. I love my black hair but Im getting into alternative modeling and every other girl has black hair with betty bangs, so I'v decided to go back to brown and start my own look.

Try the dish soup and deep condition your hair as much as possible

Im going to try to mix some bleach mixture and shampoo and rub that through the ends of my hair. my roots are grown out now so I dont really need them bleached.

I dyed my mom's never-colored gray hair to a dark brown and it looked really good... but against my better judgement I put black on top because that was her color (about 30 years ago). Long story... She HATED it so my hairdresser friend advised me to wash it with comet mixed with shampoo. I didn't have enough comet so I used soft scrub with bleach. It did nothing! No color loss and no hair damage. Just squeaky clean hair. So lucky that my mom has perfect tough hair! Took her to a salon who corrected the blue black color with a simple soapcap (shampoo + bleach + developer mix. Brought it down to a dark brown and then added just a few medium brown highlights. Looks awesome! Probably could never be reproduced. Laughing! The stylist at the salon suggested using Tide laundry detergent + shampoo several times to do the same thing at home.
