If you are useing a mic you might be 2 close 2 your P.C.
your mic volume settings might be set 2 high just right click on your sound icon in the bottom right hand corner and left click on open volume control and change it 4rm there.
If you are useing a cable 2 record 4rm say a cd player it might be damaged and or your cable for your mic might be damaged. other wise just restart your p.c. leave a bit more info so I can help you better hope this works XOXO
