Well it's good that you are running, but it doesn't help that you eat late at night and then lay down and go to sleep. If you are going to eat your cereal try eating it early give your body a chance to digest your food.
Oh and if you have mastered running 40 mins a day then it might be time to increase your minutes running start with five more for a week and if you are with that go to 50. Stay there for a while till you feel comfortable with going after a whole hour.
