Can i dye my hair back to normal a month after highlights?

I just went to a salon and had my black hair highlighted red can I dye it back black after just one month what will happen?

Yes you can, although dyeing it that often could damage the hair... (make it hard, more likely to fall out, etc etc...). I would wait a little while longer, maybe you'll get used to the red highlights?

nothing will happen. you can get it toned if you want to though. that will make it really lite and barely noticable

Red color falls out a lot, no matter what brand... it will fade a lot faster than other colors. If thats why you want to dye it back most good salons will re tone your highlights for free one time. Then after you can ask them how much they will charge to do it next time if you want. But if you want to go back to black the color might fade a bit since you bleached it, but once you re do it it should be good. I used to dye my hair black a lot but I also used to dye it other colors a lot... I grew up in a beauty salon so I experimented A LOT with color. lol.

leave it a couple mounths so your hair does not get damaged and use loads of conditioner and dont put hot plats on it for a bit
