uncomfortable for her she told me the other day that after this birthday we will do it more often which led me to the idea of buying her 3 roses (one for each year I have loved her) each with a note attached depicting a happy memory of our relationship as well as taking her out for a meal and a movie then I was going to get her lingerie what I need to know is whether this would get me a slap as it would appear to be a present just for me wouldn't it? what should I get her? please help me fast I only have 3 weeks to decide

it depends on how tacky the lingerie is, for example it is very kinky your best bet is not to get. I would think if you buy really cute underwear (boyshorts or something really sparkly) from victoria secret and a matching or almost matching bra most girls wouldn't be offened. Since you already had sex and she said you will be having more sex lingerie is an okay choice. The three roses idea is really cute. So give her the three roses and than her new sexy underwear. If it hurts, it hurts, a birthday shouldn't have anything to do with when and how many times you make love.You were vague in your question about your girlfreindsincident, so if it's a medical thing, she should go to the Dr. iI it's a mental thing,she has had you for the last 3 yrs, and should know that you seem to be a loving and supportive BF.
The 3 Roses sound beautiful, but I would buy her something really nice as well, like a small diamond bracelet or freindship ring, they are not that expensive and if you have been with her for 3 yrs., she deserves it.!!!

it sounds like you are very supportive of your gf and her unfortunate past, since sex is an issue and she has expressed it, buying her lingerie will only push her to think you are only doing all these romantic things for more sex. Id go along with the roses and dinner and movie but id keep the lingerie to a low. if you want this occasion to be perfect then dont do anything that may upset her.

I think that the idea of buying her roses with the memories is really sweet. But I agree that buying the lingerie may be a little too much, especially with whatever happened in her past. Just try to be romantic without her thinking that you just want to get in her pants.
