Parents won't let me get tongue piercing

I want my tonuge peirced but my parents say no .

should I just find a friend to take me ??

You shouldn't betray your parents trust like that...they are looking out for your best interests, and while you live under their roof, I'm sorry to tell you - you follow their rules

Someday, when you move out and earn your own living, you can do what you choose, but until then - they do know what's best

(and I argued that with my own parents until I was blue in the face, but now I see - they were right)

Only if you don't respect your parents, don't think they're trying to look after your bests interests, don't love you and don't care about you.

Take someone older than 18 with you, you'll be fine

No because you should definitely get it professionally done. and at a legit place, no one would let you pierce your tongue if you're under 18. And the parents have to bring an ID and your birth certificate and all that proofs

Depends what country your in, In the Uk, most places are 16, but if you do get it done, dont do it yourself, go to a proper studio with hygeine certificates.

lip piercings are tacky. forget it.
