What to do if i'm scared for my mom?

my mom is getting me a Pap Smear!! what do I do???!!I am so scared!!

Calm down! She's only doing it for your health. It's a normal thing every girl has to go through if they want to make sure they're healthy! You don't have to worry, it doesn't hurt or anything. I imagine you're scared because a stranger is going to be looking at your business, but it's nothing they haven't seen before. Just to relax and close your eyes and imagine your self somewhere else. It's not a long procedure, so you should be in and out before you know it!

Pap Smears are preventative procedures. It is just to make sure nothing is wrong. The good thing about getting regular paps is that if something IS wrong, you have enough time to treat it. Don't worry, your mom is doing the right thing. Have faith.

Really, it seems MUCH scarier than it is. The doctor will be very nice and understanding--just tell him or her that it's your first visit, and you're a bit nervous. He or she will be very sweet.

The actual procedure is not painful at all--just a little uncomfortable, but it's no big deal.

She said her Mother was going. That is what my answer was to.

Your becoming a lady lol! pap smears are just proceders to make sure you are ok! it may hurt, but just calm down, just close your eyes, relax listen to some music and you wont feel a thing
