sunlight makes natural lighter highlights
thats all I know
Besides the sun, they make Shampoos that bring out natural highlights.
try the product "sun in" or "a touch of sun"..you can get it at walmart. its a lightning spray
I'm a hairstylist. I haven't worked in years but some things don't change. It's true that the sun does lighten your hair. That's about as natural as it gets.
There's an ol' wives tale where you add lemon to the equation and that may help.
If your hair is light medium brown, you could get a blonde hair color, such as Clairol Balsom (about $3, depending on how many boxes you'll need) and it will bring your hair up to a medium blonde with a reddish tint. That's if you decide against the natural way.
Here's a picture of me when I used to do that.
I got blonde highlights which lightened up my hair drastically but looked good and enhanced my features in my face. I looked like I had a natural glow. Thats what worked for me. I redo them every 4 months or so. Funmail me if you need some info on salons etc...
if you have light brown hair then it will be really easy and natural looking for you to go blonde. it will look sooo good! go and have it done. I woouldn't try lemon or sun in or having a friend do it. just go in to a nice salon and tell them you want some natural highlights that are blended well. also, make sure and tell them what color of blonde you want. I would be pretty ticked if I came out with that icky orange looking blonde. try a golden white blonde.
good luck!
Lemon juice from a lemon (not bottled)
I do it every summer.
I do "highlights" I take the lemon run it over my hair.
Then I spend the day out in the sun.
I works every time.
Good luck
I agree with the SUN touch of sun product I used it in 5th grade. works great
DO NOT USE A SPRAY IN PRODUCT
it ruins your hair and gives you unbelivable horrible split ends
I can't stretch this enough
DONT USE IT
use lemon juice or rub lemon on the spots you want blonde
then go outside and let the sun hit it
I do it ALL the time
hope I helped
