Help for an inmate

All eyes on u Asked by einstiens_chosen_few about 1 year ago, 9 answers.

okay my sister rang me to ask what to do so I'm asking on her behalf...There was an inmate that escaped from maximum security here in new zealand, his mother has cancer and is dying, so his family picked him up down the road from the prison, he...

apparently broke a window of sorts in his cell and clawed his way out and scrambled over the fences...anyway the security guards captured him without the press finding out, my sisters friend that is in prison has communications to her friend via. illegal means, cellphone...my sisters friend told her that the security guards have beaten him within an inch from his life for putting them in this predicament, they have thrown him in the hole ( lockdown cells) and have removed everyone that were in the other hole cells out, he has not had any medical attention, and she is worried that he might die...what to do?? Notufy the press? the police?? I don't know...any idea anyone??

I would first try to contact the prison and ask to speak with him to see if he is ok. If they refuse I would explain to them that I only want to make sure he is ok.
You could try contacting amnesty international for advice.

First pray!

Second contact some of the churches that have a ministry in the prison and tell them the story, they can help.

Third pray again.

I would like to know first what he has done to warrent a maximum security prision??? why has no one asked this? he could be a peodophile? in which case, would you grant him any peace?

my uncle was a governer for a maximum security prison, one of the inmates cut a baby girl open, I don't need to say anymore or why, but how much mercy would you grant him?

I think his forgivness would happen to be given by God, since I never could...

you know you don't go to a maximum security prison for nicking penny sweets...and it's not supposed to be a holiday camp :O(

and p.s; if he's in the 'HOLE' how has he got his cellphone or a signal? duh!

praying I doubt will help. it's not your battle to fight. give the information to someone who has mroe power than you do, let them decide what to do.

besides, if he'sin jail it's for a reason, right ?

press proper authorities government officials what you need most is proof without it your stand is futile.once you have it start with press that will open an investigation to which you can give that evidence to the proper authorities.make 2 more copies of that evidence keeping one with you in case things go sour to expose corruption and send the second copy to any government official that takes interest that appears appaled about whats happening.it wont get him out but possibly transfered and the guards prosecuted(or atleast fired)

well first off he's not a murderer or a phedophile* or anything like that, he's actually in remand for being an accomplish (driver) for an armed robbery, he was actually due to be released next month, and no its not him that has the cellphone but someone else inside, no one has seen or heard from him since they saw him being dragged unconcious to the hole, I rang a lawyer and notified the press lastnight.

well good for you. but regardles of what he did, if he hadn't done something he woulnd't be in there would he?

the guards have to keep a lot of people in check is all I can say, and generally asking politely doesn't work. I'm not saying what they did is or was right, but maybe he's fine and they are simply making an example of him. after all, if he got out, then they have to deter others from doing the same?

and if the guy had a cell phone, why didn't he call someone himself and just be anon?
