Help!! dress netting and ironing :-s

Hey guys, you know with dresses you get the net underskirty bits, do any of you know if you can iron that stuff?? My mum is making my prom dress for me and the net is slightly creased but we dont know if ironing is bad for it! Any ideas?? Thanks in...

if you put like a tea towel over it it should be ok to iron...I dunno
