How to cover up smell of smoke?

my basement smells like smoke or something. like from a cigarette. my moms coming home in an hour and I NEED a way to cover it up quick! anyone know how?!

theres really no way to cover up cigarette smoke except if you have like a 10 gallon spray can of axe that might work
but weed thats different

It probley wont work.
After a while you'll probley stop noticing the smell but once she walks in thats all shes going to smell. Shouldn't you have thought of that before hand?

maybe next time you should smoke outside,caz just about nothing is going to work

Take a cup of anmiona and put it in the room open all the windows oh my daugher says a cup of coffee grounds. Spray. Better clean the room too or she will be supscious. Busted!

you shoulden't have been smoking in the basment try outside wait you shouldent be smoking at all because it does damage to your heath shortens your life turns your fingernails and teeth yellow who whould wan't to do a nasty habit like that.

put a container of vinegar in the corner.. it soaks up the smell also an onion in a bucket of shallow water in the corner of the room. but you really shouldnt be smoking in the first place.

Don't smoke cause God doesn't want you to and neither do I!

don't call me dumb, im probably more educated than most people on this site
I get great grades at my high school which is rated #94 in the country
anyways, back on topic
sweet I didnt realize my basement door was open, but I didnt get in trouble
I did laundry (its in my basement)
moped, sparyed air freshener, washed walls with pine cleaner (its wood panelling)
and finally, the thing that solved it
an air purifier in my basement
no one noticed anything and I am so lucky for it!
and no offense, I smoke because I want and its only like once a week
I like the high
so yeah if anyone else needs any tips do all the above
plus lemon juice helps smell on fingers disappear all the way!

I should have made it more clear
I smoked outside
and its just spring here so I wasnt used to my windows and doors being open for air circulation
the smell entered through my basement door and stuck
but yeah im not in trouble
and I smoke outside
also, I think by age 16 I realize smoking is bad
but so is telling people what to do
