How to react around my crush when I'm shy?

I am really shy but there is this one guy that I really like...he smiles when he is around me and we chat sometimes. but since I am so shy I don;t know how to react around him

Should I ask him out or wait for him to ask me? if I should ask him out what should I say

Ok, well I would advise really getting to know him first, for instance, if you think he is coming on to you, and you like him like you say you do then go ahead, and make a move, ask for his number, or I.m however you do, and if you are that shy.. then go ahead, and TEXT him, but anyhow... just take things slowly, and if everything goes in your favor.. then you guys should have no problem with engaging in a relationship.. good luck! :]

If he talks to you, don't reply with just a yes or no, make it a sentance, it shows you're confident and he'll be able to reconize this when he's around you.
Text him, email him talk on msn, ask him if he wants to go to the movies or bowling sometime.
