the start of my long distance relationship was something that I dreaded since the moment I knew it had to happen. my boyfriend went off to college and I'm a senior. it's only about 3 hours away, but that's too far to see each other often. he comes home whenever he can which is every 2 to 3 weekends. when he does come home, I love every second I spend with him more than I ever have. I cherish it more knowing that it doesn't happen often. it's really really hard, but we were together for a year and a half before that and we love each other, so it works. we text all the time and a few nights a week we talk on the web cams and play online games together. that kind of makes it feel like we're hanging out. so what I'm saying is that they're hard and they certainly aren't fun, but if you both want to make it work, it will work. you just need trust in each other and faith in your love and your relationship.

If you care for him and you know that you both can be faithful, go for it. Long distance relationships are extremely difficult though, it takes a lot of communication, understanding, and work, to make the relationship work out.
You need to decide how much you really love him? Whether you can live without seeing him like a normal relationship? Is it worth it? Do you mind not going out on dates or seeing each other?
